Primate Elijah Ayodele has delivered a strong prophetic warning to the Nigerian government concerning the persistent rise in insecurity that has left citizens living in fear. Speaking during a live broadcast, the spiritual leader expressed deep concern over the government’s continued inability to curb kidnapping, terrorism, and other security threats plaguing the nation.
According to Primate Ayodele, he has repeatedly sounded the alarm on the worsening state of insecurity, but his warnings have not been taken seriously. He cautioned that the country now faces an even greater danger, as he foresees terrorists adopting more sophisticated and alarming strategies in their operations.
The cleric revealed that government officials may soon become primary targets, noting that terrorists could shift their focus to kidnapping high-ranking individuals. He urged the authorities to act swiftly and decisively to prevent the situation from deteriorating further.
In his words:
“We have been talking about these people for a very long time, but the government doesn’t listen. Now they will start kidnapping government officials. Nobody wants that, but sincerely, they will begin to do that.”
Primate Ayodele called on security agencies and policymakers to strengthen intelligence gathering, reinforce security measures, and prioritize the safety of both citizens and government personnel. He stressed that immediate action is required to address the growing insecurity that has destabilized many communities across the country.
