The Spiritual Leader of Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele, has issued a fresh prophetic warning concerning the political future of Seyi Makinde, the Governor of Oyo State.
Speaking during a prayer service at his church headquarters in Oke-Afa, Ejigbo, Lagos State, the prophet cautioned the governor about looming political crises that could shape his career in the coming years. According to Primate Ayodele, the governor must tread carefully to avoid setbacks that may affect his ambitions and influence within the state and beyond.
In his prophetic message, Primate Ayodele addressed speculations about Governor Makinde’s potential alignment with the African Democratic Congress (ADC). He stated that joining the party would not automatically guarantee Makinde a clear path to the presidency.
“If Seyi goes to ADC, he can’t be the president there. He would struggle and struggle, but something can still be better for him there,” he said.
The prophecy gives an insight that while the ADC may offer certain opportunities, it may not provide the smooth political advancement the governor might expect. The man of God implied that internal party dynamics and political resistance could pose significant challenges.
Primate Ayodele also warned against Governor Makinde remaining in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He told him that staying in the party could lead to electoral defeat and eventual disgrace in Oyo State.
“If you stay in PDP, you would lose that state not only lose the state, you would be disgraced out of the state by voting you out,” he warned.
Governor Seyi Makinde, who has been a prominent political figure in Oyo State, has continued to play an influential role within the PDP. However, recent political developments at both state and national levels have sparked conversations about realignments ahead of future elections.
Primate Ayodele’s prophecy adds another layer to the ongoing political discourse, particularly as Nigeria gradually approaches another election cycle. While prophetic declarations often stir debate among supporters and critics alike, they remain influential in shaping public conversations in the country’s political and religious landscape.
