Primate Elijah Ayodele, Servant of the Most High God, Founder and Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Nigeria, has warned the president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, that the array of defections, and distribution of rice and exercise books would not save him from angry Nigerians in 2027.
Primate Ayodele took the stance on Friday, March 13, 2026, while speaking to journalists in Lagos.
He warned the president that senators and House members would not rescue him, therefore he should not have absolute reliance in them.
He called on the president to restrategize because Nigerians are angry and they are waiting for him at the polls.
He said, “You give money, they collect your money, they will not vote for you, especially those ones in government.
“Those that are Honourable, Senators, majority of them, they will not work for you. Cross from NPC to NPR, cross from anywhere, they will not give you victory.
“Your rice, your exercise book, your biro, your empowerments, they will not save you.
“Nigeria is angry, there is hunger, Nigerians, there eyes are open now. Many senators, House members, many politicians they will not go back.
“Tinubu you better change your strategy, don’t depend on your senators.
“Even if somebody cross from one party to another party, he will not perform. If you can perform, not party that matters, it is personality, it is wellbeing, when you have the wellbeing of the people at heart,” Primate Ayodele said.
