The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has once again spoken prophetically concerning Nigeria’s opposition party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). Known globally for his precise and timely prophecies, Primate Ayodele has warned that the emergence of former Jigawa State Governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido, as the PDP National Chairman could further destabilize the already fragile party and give the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) a stronger advantage ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to the man of God, choosing Lamido as the National Chairman could spell political disaster for the PDP, deepening internal divisions and frustrating efforts to rebuild public confidence in the opposition. He said: “If Sule Lamido becomes PDP chairman, he may jeopardize the future of the party and weaken it for the advantage of APC.”
Primate Ayodele explained that while Lamido might appear politically experienced and respected, his leadership could trigger internal resistance, power struggles, and loss of focus among key party figures. He warned that PDP’s failure to prioritize spiritual insight in its decision-making process could once again lead to another round of confusion, defections, and eventual defeat in the forthcoming elections.
This is not the first time Primate Ayodele has issued warnings to the PDP. Over the years, his prophetic messages have served as early signals about crises and losses the party later experienced due to neglecting divine direction.
Before the 2015 presidential election, the prophet warned that if the PDP failed to reconcile internal differences and deal with disloyalty within its ranks, it would lose power to the then-opposition APC. Despite the warning, the party went into the election divided, and the result was historic President Goodluck Jonathan lost to Muhammadu Buhari, ending PDP’s 16-year reign.
In 2019, Primate Ayodele prophesied that the PDP’s lack of internal unity and refusal to restructure its leadership would again cost it victory. His words proved true when the party, under Atiku Abubakar, lost the presidential election amid reports of factional wrangling and weak coordination.
Again, in 2023, the prophet cautioned that the unresolved feud between Atiku Abubakar and the G-5 Governors would destroy PDP’s chances of returning to power. Despite several warnings, the party ignored the spiritual counsel and went into the polls disjointed, ultimately suffering another defeat.
Political analysts have observed that Primate Ayodele’s prophecies about the PDP often serve as accurate roadmaps to the party’s eventual missteps. His prophecies, delivered months or even years in advance, have consistently matched real political outcomes, a record that has made him one of the most credible prophetic voices in Africa.
In his latest prophecy, Primate Ayodele made it clear that the PDP’s current struggle is not just political but deeply spiritual. He stated that the party’s inability to heed divine warnings has kept it trapped in a cycle of defeat and internal instability. The prophet advised the PDP to seek divine direction before choosing its next leader, insisting that “political calculation alone will not secure the party’s future.”
He warned that if the party goes ahead and installs Sule Lamido as the National Chairman, the PDP might experience fresh leadership disputes, weakened internal trust, and mass defections that would benefit the APC. The cleric’s concern reflects a growing fear among political observers that the PDP, once Nigeria’s most dominant political force, has continued to lose ground due to internal disunity and spiritual negligence.
Primate Ayodele’s message is more than a political opinion it’s a prophetic insight into the unseen forces shaping Nigeria’s politics. He emphasized that leadership decisions made without divine guidance will continue to backfire, no matter how strategic they appear on the surface.
As the 2027 general elections draw nearer, Primate Ayodele’s prophecy should serve as a wake-up call for the PDP. The party’s internal crisis, leadership struggles, and poor communication with its grassroots base have left it vulnerable to further decline. The prophet urged the party to cleanse itself of internal bitterness and seek divine wisdom before making key political choices.
“The PDP has all it takes to challenge the APC, but it must not rely only on human reasoning,” he warned. “The party must humble itself, seek God’s direction, and put forward a spiritually guided leader who can restore order, unity, and strength.”
Political commentators believe that if the PDP ignores Ayodele’s message again, it could be heading toward another devastating loss. The prophet’s record of fulfilled prophecies from the fall of the PDP in 2015 to the 2023 internal collapse shows a pattern that the party can no longer afford to dismiss.
Primate Ayodele’s latest warning about Sule Lamido’s potential emergence as PDP chairman is not just another prophecy; it is a final opportunity for reflection and reform. The PDP’s fate, according to the man of God, rests on whether it will act with spiritual sensitivity or continue to rely solely on political arithmetic.
If the party chooses to ignore this divine counsel, it may once again find itself divided and powerless against a more organized APC. But if it listens and aligns its leadership decisions with divine direction, the PDP could yet reclaim its lost glory.
