Primate Ayodele Warns NURTW: Division, Greed and Crisis Loom If Elders Fail to Intervene

Renowned Nigerian cleric and leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a strong prophetic warning concerning the future of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), cautioning that the union may face serious internal crises if urgent steps are not taken.

According to the prophecy, Primate Ayodele revealed that he does not see unity within NURTW, stressing that the spirit of greed and selfishness has deeply crept into the leadership and rank-and-file of the union. He warned that these negative traits could tear the organization apart if not properly addressed.

“I have not seen them unite,” the prophet declared. “The spirit of greediness and selfishness will break them.”

The outspoken cleric further disclosed that this year will be particularly heavy for NURTW, spiritually and physically, noting that mounting pressure, internal struggles, and unresolved disputes could overwhelm the union. He warned that if care is not taken, NURTW members may begin to constitute a serious nuisance, both internally and in the public space.

Primate Ayodele emphasized that elders within the union must urgently step in to restore order and discipline, saying their intervention is critical to preventing total breakdown.

“Let elders call them to order and put things in place,” he advised.

The prophecy also highlighted deep discrepancies among members, which could soon manifest as open separation, verbal attacks, and damaging conflicts. He warned that unchecked disagreements could escalate into public confrontations capable of damaging the union’s image and weakening its influence.

Observers note that NURTW has historically played a significant role in Nigeria’s transport sector, making any internal crisis a matter of national concern. Primate Ayodele’s message serves as both a warning and a call to action urging unity, humility, and responsible leadership before divisions spiral out of control.

As events unfold, many will be watching closely to see whether NURTW leaders heed this prophetic counsel or allow internal strife to take its toll.
