Babajide Sanwo-Olu Extends Tenure of LNSA General Manager Prince Dr. Ifalade Oyekan for Five More Years

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has approved the renewal of the appointment of Prince Dr. Ifalade Oyekan, FISN, as General Manager of the Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Agency (LNSA) for another five-year term.

The decision underscores the Governor’s strong confidence in Prince Dr. Oyekan’s leadership and his significant contributions to enhancing community-based security across Lagos State. During his tenure, the Agency has recorded remarkable progress, including improved operational effectiveness, stronger collaboration with security agencies and stakeholders, enhanced capacity building for personnel, and increased citizen participation in neighborhood safety programs.

Reacting to the renewal, Prince Dr. Oyekan expressed heartfelt appreciation to Governor Sanwo-Olu for the continued trust placed in him. He reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the Agency’s mandate by building on existing achievements, implementing innovative security initiatives, expanding grassroots intelligence gathering, and ensuring the protection of lives and property throughout the state.

The reappointment letter was formally presented on behalf of the Governor by the Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro.
