…As nine apostles grace wedding ceremony

A respected man of God, an ambassador of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, in charge of Agor-Okota Parish, Reverend (Dr) Abiola Ayinda popularly known as Gbojesu has stated that couples should not give the devil any chance in their marriage.

Rev. Ayinde made the statement at the marriage ceremony between his daughter, Rachel Bisola and Akinyosoye Emmanuel Segun, which took place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Sof Event Hall, Ejigbo, Lagos State.

Speaking at the ceremony attended by nine apostles of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Rev Ayinde disclosed that involving a third party in someone’s marriage is an automatic invitation to the devil, and that marriage is bound to crash.

Reverend Ayinde spoke glowingly about marriage and advised couples to avoid giving the devil chance in their marriage. “Marriage is when the day has come, a man and woman would come together, and they become a couple. The bible says, a woman will leave her parent’s house and go to a man’s house and they become one. In this case anybody that wants to go into marriage, it is not an easy thing, I want to advise people that are hearing me, or reading this message that when they are in marriage, they need to put the intervention of God into it because marriage is not something that you can just jump into, and these days our kids want things the easy way and marriage may not go that way. Marriage needs wisdom, knowledge, charisma and strength before they can stand in their marriage.

“In marriage, you need God’s intervention, the first person to be in marriage is Adam and Eve in the Bible, in their journey the snake intervened, when snake intervened, the marriage became a problem, that is Satan, so in marriage don’t give Satan time, what I know, in marriage, third party, don’t put asunder, when third party enters, the devil has entered,” he advised.

Giving his daughter’s hand in marriage he said he is very excited. “I am very excited, because the way it all started and the backbone of myself, my Excellency, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele for his moral and financial support, when I look around I see many people rejoice, thanking God with me, eating, drinking, it is really amazing, and I am happy. And I use this opportunity to say thank you God, thank you Jesus, thank you Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele.”

He thanked God that his daughter and husband were the first to wed in the newly commissioned ultra modern church building of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church in Lagos, he said, “Being the first ambassador of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, and my daughter is the first to do wedding at the new cathedral church, in fact, it is a privilege. I am very happy for that and I pray that will not be the end of this gift in Jesus name.”

On his relationship with Primate Elijah Ayodele, Ayinde said that the closeness between him and the God’s oracle is that of father and son. “The closeness between me and Primate Ayodele, I am not just his driver, I am his son. Anybody that talks to him about me, he would say, he is my son, so the relationship between me and Daddy is son and father. In fact I am not just the parish Shepherd, I am a son of Primate Elijah Ayodele, I may answer another surname.”

His message to other members of INRI church with regards to training their children in the fear of the lord. He said, “What I can only say to whom it may concern, in this INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church is that when you are serving God, face your God, when you put your child in the line of God, they will never miss the road, if you don’t put it there, it will miss. I raised my daughter in white garment church, I made sure she married in white garment church, and I made sure she grew up spiritually. I advise everybody to do the same for their children. It is a privilege, you will gain it, I believe this is a seed I sowed, and I believe when I will reap it death will not take me away and you people that are hearing me.”

On what he would miss about his daughter, “As I said before, when the time comes, a daughter will leave her parents and go to her husband’s house, it is not easy, I love my daughter no matter the circumstances, she is so kind, her love and caring for her parents, and she has never caused problem for me since the year 2000 I had her, she is a graduate of Benin, and she learnt tailoring, she is doing well and she has never given me debt or trouble, no. I did pray that any of my daughter who wants to get married, let her do a church wedding in INRI and God did it for me.”

On whether he dictated to the daughter the type of man to marry, he said, “This is the first man she brought to me and when she brought her, I prayed God to bless them, and Daddy, Primate Elijah Ayodele, prayed for them. You can see the light, the light is shining.”

His advice to INRI church members, “They should follow the rules of the church. If you follow the rules and regulations of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church you will make it, and your children will succeed, but if you don’t follow it, you may not make it, if you follow the instructions as I did, it shall be well with you.”
