NEVER IN OUR HISTORY—HON. AKINOLA ABIODUN IDOWU WAIVED OLD PSP & LAWMA ARREARS AND CLEARED COURT CASES TO MAKE ORILE-AGEGE LCDA CLEANER, HEALTHIER, AND SAFER

‎Orile-Agege, Lagos

In November last year, Honourable Akinola Abiodun Idowu Executive Chairman Orile-Agege LCDA, took a bold and unprecedented step—driven purely by his love for the people and residents of Orile-Agege LCDA.

Through strategic dialogue with PSP and LAWMA stakeholders, he successfully secured the waiver of all outstanding PSP and LAWMA bills from January 1999 to December 2022. Not stopping there, he further negotiated a 50% reduction on arrears from January 2023 to August 2025, easing the financial burden on residents and business owners alike.

When last did leadership take such a decisive and people-centered action?

In his quest to foster peace and harmony between LAWMA/PSP operators and the community, the Chairman also persuaded stakeholders to withdraw all court cases filed against landlords over PSP/LAWMA-related issues—restoring trust and unity across the LCDA.

Beyond policy, his compassion speaks volumes. During his engagement with landlords and landowners across all wards, Honourable Akinola Abiodun Idowu empowered over 60 senior citizens with ₦100,000 each, putting smiles on faces and hope in hearts.

Is this not a historic move?

Indeed, Honourable Akinola Abiodun Idowu stands as a trailblazer and a man of his word—fully committed to grassroots development, rooted in responsibility, and driven by selfless service to humanity.
