Spiritual leader of Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has sent a strong warning to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Olayemi Cardoso, over an alleged plot by two powerful banks that could destabilize the nation’s financial system and undermine the Tinubu administration.
Speaking during a prophetic service at the Church headquarters in Oke-Afa, Lagos, on Sunday, October 26, 2025, Primate Ayodele revealed that these two banks are being influenced by opposition forces seeking to weaken the current government through financial manipulation.
The man of God cautioned that the CBN Governor must remain vigilant and proactive to prevent the impending crisis. He also advised Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, to work hand-in-hand with Cardoso to avert what he described as a “spiritual and economic attack” on Nigeria’s financial institutions.
In his prophetic message, Primate Ayodele declared:
“The CBN governor, there’s something happening that can affect Tinubu’s government. There are two banks that can affect Tinubu government; CBN they have not opened their eyes. Cardoso is not opening his eyes. There’s nothing wrong with the CBN governor and the Minister of Finance working together, if you don’t work together, these two banks will weaken Tinubu’s government. The opposition will use it to fight Tinubu government and they will not know. That’s how I warned Emefiele. Cardoso, you are sitting on a golden chair don’t let them break your golden chair”.
The revered cleric recalled how he had earlier warned former CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele before his eventual troubles and advised Cardoso not to ignore divine counsel.
